Del Vecchio Del Vecchio is the author of The 13th Valley, For the Sake of All Living Things, Carry Me Home,  Darkness Falls, “The Importance of Story”; forward for Wounds Of War, afterword for Code Word: Geronimo, and co-author of The Bremer Detail. His books have been translated into four languages and published worldwide.  He served as a combat correspondent for the 101st Airborne Division (Airmobile) 1970-1971. None of that prepared him for the ski up Red Lake Peak!

Leaving a career as a Fireman/Medic /Technical Rescue Specialist led me to pursue all the things my eight year old self dreamed of. It has led me almost all the way around the world, shown me incredible sights, led me to delicious food, introduced me to incredible people, and has scared the living shit out of me." Tom Civitano Tom is a back country snowmobile instructor and guide. In charge of the team's safety, he is an expert in avalanche risk and avoidance, and search and rescue. His degree is in biology; he was pre-med until the call of the wild seduced him.

Zach Fletcher Zach, our training guru, is the founder and head coach of MindBodyClimb, a coaching and training service for athletes. Over the last ten years, he has climbed in 10 countries and on several of the largest big walls in the world; and has coached athletes in multiple arenas, from competitive freestyle skiing to Yosemite big wall climbing. To enhance athletic performance and optimize the climbing experience, Zach explains, “One must train both the body and the mind.”  www.mindbodyclimb.com.
